We are hiring – Marketing Manager, London

As the world’s leading crisis communications response network for international shipping and maritime, we continue to grow and expand.

As a result, we are now seeking a marketing manager to join our dynamic team in London.

The marketing manager will be employed by Navigate Response Ltd in London but will work across the two Navigate companies (Navigate Response and Navigate PR); and will also have responsibilities connected with the vessel solutions division of our parent company Witt O’Brien’s based in Washington, DC and Houston.

Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining websites.
  • Enhancing and maintaining our social media presence.
  • Production of in-house/client podcasts, webinars, short video clips for social media.
  • Media engagement.
  • Market research and analysis.
  • Securing conference/seminar speaking opportunities.
  • Managing events (seminars, networking events etc).
  • Managing advertising/sponsorship.
  • Producing corporate presentations/digital and printed collateral.
  • Assisting with producing training material.
  • Attending networking events.
  • Assisting to promote the Navigate Response partner network.


The successful candidate will have:

  • Marketing experience essential, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Experience and knowledge of shipping/maritime industry is useful but not essential.
  • Ability to work across multiple sites.
  • Honed social media skills.
  • Able to write clear, concise English.
  • Able to communicate effectively at all management levels.
  • Willing to travel and work out of hours when required.
  • Willing to muck-in to get things done.
  • Willing to learn and embrace new business sectors.
