The highly interactive day will include an opportunity for each participant to practice acting as a spokesperson in an on-camera interview, addressing both personal communication and team leadership skills.

Meet the Trainers

Apoorva Shridhar is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience as a TV news presenter and senior reporter. Throughout her career, she has been on the front lines, reporting on a diverse range of topics including the Covid pandemic, natural and man-made disasters, public policy, international affairs, and financial frauds. As a crisis communications manager, she offers practical support to clients through media training, crisis communications, and public speaking.
Kyle Fawkes is an expert communicator in crisis management, international policy and maritime affairs. Kyle provides strategic communications advice on operational, reputational and geopolitical shipping issues – including trade sanctions, vessel detentions and security threats. Prior to joining Navigate Response, Kyle worked with universities and think tanks to research and consult on international maritime policy-making.
