On 15 April Navigate Response, IMRF, MarineTraffic, IUMI and UK P&I Club joined together to discuss what would be different (and what might be the same) if the Titanic sank today.

A lot has changed in the 109 years since the most famous ship ever built sank on her maiden voyage. Safety standards, technology, conventions and regulations have all developed tremendously. How would such developments impact those responsible for responding?

Our cross section of industry experts included:

David Jardine-Smith – International Maritime Rescue Federation (IMRF)
Dustin Eno – Navigate Response
Georgios Hatzimanolis – MarineTraffic
Richard Turner – International Union of Marine Insurance (IUMI)
Genevieve Holloway – UK P&I Club
